A Second Chance at Life

Methods: The caring science field study took a phenomenological approach, where data were analyzed for meaning. Two specialist ambulance nurses, three registered nurses, and six paramedics participated. Phenomenology has been widely used to understand human phe (Dahlberg, Dahlberg, & Nyström, 2008). The lifeworld is crucial and becomes the starting point for understanding lived experiences.
